You can now watch my "Art of Drag Queen Make Up" on

 Stages 1 - 7

Stages 8 - 10

Stages 11 - 14

The running order below does not relate to the video stage numbers

  Stage 1
" White Clown Stick" (75p from Abdul's)

Apply to the top eyelid, which removes the eyebrow line - smoke and mirrors does the rest.

  Stage 2

"Rimmel Jet Black Eye Shadow"

You're now going to shape the eye socket. Always use it damp and just slap it on and don't be frightened.

  Stage 3

"White Rimmel Highlighter"

Remember always damp - accending the corner of the inner eye.

  Stage
4

"Mascara" & "Kryolan Theatre Kosmetic - White"

Apply the Mascara onto the eyebrow and eyelashes to emphasize the shape.

Apply "Kryolan" on the top of the bottom eye lid which will make the eye look bigger.

  Stage 5

"Faststroke Jet Black Eyeliner - 2000 Collection"

Apply in a straight line on to the top of the eyelid.

  Stage
6

False Eyelashes & Standard Eye Lash Adhesive"

Remove dead glue from the false lashes.

Pour out a small amount of Standard Eye Lash Adhesive and let the air get to the glue for a couple of minutes (it works better and fixes quicker).

Use tweezers to apply the glue to the lash band, then clean tweezers. Use the tweezers to apply the lashes on top of your own (if you use your fingers it can get a bit fiddly).

Position and leave to set. Repeat for other eye - unless you've only got one eye!

  Stage 7

"Dermablend Cover Cream - Cream Corrective"

Dermablend is used by people to cover up "Port Wine Stain" birthmarks but is fab to hide your 8 o'clock shadow. Choose a shade that is suitable for your skin tone.

Apply with a damp sponge all over the face gently blending into the eye makeup. Use downward strokes.

Once on, tap in the Dermablend with your fingers to achieve a smooth finish.

  Stage
8

"Kryolin Cake Make Up for TV Film & Theatre"

Again, choose a suitable shade and apply with a moist sponge on top of the Dermablend, using downward strokes. Finely blend into the eye makeup.

Once base is on, pat lighly all over the base with some kitchen roll to achieve that flawless Hollywood finish.

  Stage 9

"Kryolin Eyeshadow Compact Matt Jugendro"

Time to apply the Rouge. Using a rouge brush, dust on some Rouge and tap off the excess.Make swooping sweeps from your temple along the cheek bone.

Use Kitchen Roll to blend the Rouge into the Base. (Kitchen Roll is £4.99 for 100 rolls at Abdul's)

  Stage 10

"Leichner Stage Makeup Theatrical Blending Powder"

Blending Powder is required to take the shine from the forehead, nose and jaw-line. Sadly, it's only available in one colour so get some Ultraglow and mix to a suitable Olive Skinned Tone (or is it Jaundice!)

This stage helps to set the base.

  Stage 11

"Kryolin Lipstick No8"

My favourite part - the lippy!

Should be applied with a lip brush for a truely professional finish. Outline first, then fill in. And please - no cupids bow!!

  Stage 12

And now !!!! (Drum Roll)

My unique blend of glitter - applied to the lips by brush.

  Stage 13

The Final Touch

Take your time to blend everything in and apply any final touch-ups.

  Stage 14

Apply Wig

You should now look just like me !!

Right - now ready for work.

Light's, camera, action and a bit of smoke - Roxy arrives !!
